Lloret Cup is an international youth handball tournament unique in his area, after a succesfull great anniversary with more than 70 teams coming from Argelia, Denmark, Germany, India, Norway, Sweden and Spain we expect a high level tournament with more teams in an international ambient. The tournament will be played in the Moli Sportspavilion with two parket playing grounds in 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotels and in 5 or more sports pavilions like Malgrat and Palafolls only few minutes in bus away from Lloret de Mar; teams can book the tournament shuttle to reach it if needed, a very popular tournament for the Catalan teams that expect to compete against european teams in a friendly ambient with a lot of handball, new friends and great surprises.

Tournament info

Programme

Day 1

Arrival of all participants to the hotels. An assistant will welcome you and will give you the latest details about the tournament, personal meeting to solve out all the doubts.

Day 2

Technical meeting with referees and tournament organization. First classifying matches. Leisure activities during the day. Great opening ceremony in the evening for our 10th Anniversary

Day 3

Tournament as per programme

Day 4

Classifying matches.  In the evening great “all together” party for all participants  where handballs, signed shirts and more surprises will be given by drawing lots.

Day 5

Second round matches and finals in all categories. Awards presentation where a MVP will be chosen from every final.

Day 6

Departure.

Competition system

There will be groups made up of four or more clubs in each category. There will play in round robin format, the first and second classifyied team of each group will go through to the next round.  In case of a unique group the first and second classified team will play a final for the deffinitive position. Each club will play a minimum of 4 matches.

Prizes in all categories

The four first classifed teams in each category will receive a trophy and medals. All the teams will receive a trophy as a memento of the tournament. From every final will be chosen the MVP (most valious player) of each category. There is a “fair play” cup to be given at the end of the tournament.

Insurance

All teams must have their players insured either through federative insurance, private insurance policies or through the social security system.

Balls and water

All teams taking part in the tournament will be provided with balls and water at the pavilion where the matches are played.Pls bring your own balls to warm up

Supporters

All supporters will be provided with accommodation in the same hotel as their clubs if desired. We can offer all relatives and participant's friends the chance to enjoy an unforgettable week at the Costa Brava.
